Having eczema means I am always on the hunt to try out the best “superfoods”; all the miracle powders, seeds, supplements and foods that promise to heal your gut and make you glow from the inside out. I’ll admit that “superfood” is a bit of a buzz word and really, what does it mean? Can any of them actually make you healthier and how? Of course, it’s not only about the magical powders you add to your morning smoothie; you need to actually do the rest of the healthy stuff too *snooore*. The latest superfood to hit the health food scene is the bright and beautiful pink pitaya powder. Derived from the pitaya, or the dragon fruit as it is otherwise known, pink pitaya powder is bright and nutrient-rich and is easily incorporated into your daily diet. BUT, before you hot-foot it down to your nearest health food store, let’s find out a bit more about this pretty powder and all the wonderful things it can do for you.

After a year and a bit of lockdown, I’m certain I won’t be the only one who is dreaming of all the trips I will take when restrictions lift and travelling is safe to do again! Hopefully, this summer will be the time when all our travel dreams will manifest but if not, I hope you can find some enjoyment in this post and maybe find some inspiration for your future travels! My dream for post-coronavirus (will this ever happen?) is to go interrailing and explore more of Europe! In preparation for this trip, I’ve created a bucket list of places I would love to visit in my little jaunt around the continent!

This post is not sponsored but I do currently work on the AmazingTalker platform as an online English Language teacher.
Teaching English can open lots of doors, especially for people who are interested in travelling to different countries and living in new cultures. Currently, there isn’t much opportunity to travel as much as we all would like (thanks covid) but, that doesn’t mean you can’t start your English teaching career now and gain some experience before the world opens back up and you can take your skills to anywhere you desire!

There’s no better way to end a day in Madrid than to watch the sun setting over the beautiful sights. In fact, when I moved to Madrid I promised myself that I would “see more sunsets”. From that very first sighting of the burnt oranges and pinks washing across the sky, it was clear that Madrid’s sunsets are something extra special and I made it my mission to check out all the best sunset spots in the city! If you want to experience Madrid’s wonderful sunsets and watch the magic for yourself check out these locations.

I’ve recently started listening to the audiobook version of The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and I’ve been inspired to share some key steps to getting started in manifestation. If you are a regular to my blog you’ll know how much I am obsessed with all things manifestation and Law of Attraction. I am a firm and true believer in everyone’s ability to manifest the things they truly want into their lives. In reading The Secret, it’s become clear that manifesting your dream life comes down to THREE key steps. I wanna share them with you!
Getting started in understanding manifestation and the Law of Attraction shouldn’t be overwhelming. The Law of Attraction is simply a fact of life and it should be easy. There is no need to overcomplicate it, these three steps will help you get there quickly and hopefully soon you should be seeing just how powerful your mind is! Let’s start manifesting your dream life!

As I come to the end of my 3rd tube of Weleda Skin Food I feel compelled to write a review of this absolute hero which quite rightfully won the Vogue Beauty Natural Skincare Phenomenon Award 2020. I first found out about this cream about a year ago when I was suffering SO badly with a winter eczema flare. I had seen it mentioned a few times on Instagram by people who also suffered from eczema so I decided to purchase and see if the hype was worth it. Spoiler Alert if you don’t have time to read any more – IT WAS 100% worth it!

I’ve had eczema all my life and I know the struggle of testing out hundreds of “skin-saving” creams and products hoping that one will be my ticket to calm, flake-free skin. A good, eczema-friendly cream will provide the moisture barrier we need to protect our sensitive skin. And luckily, I have tried and tested SO many creams, cleansers, masks and moisturisers that I can share with you all the best products that have helped my skin the most. Hopefully, this year is the year you can banish your red, flaky and dry skin forever! Whether you’re looking for the best cream to use for yourself or even for your toddler’s eczema, there is something in this list that will help even the most troublesome eczema flare-up.

Teaching English online is now one of the easiest ways native English speakers can earn a little extra money. There are many different websites that allow you to teach English full time to children and adults across the globe, all you need is a TEFL certificate and youโre on your way! A couple of months ago when I decided I was going to teach English in Spain I decided to earn my TEFL certificate online. I knew that having this certificate would make it a lot easier for me to start working especially as I had no previous experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching. Once I had the qualification, I realised how high demand was for English teachers online. Especially during Covid, when students across the world are learning online the need is greater than ever! I applied for a position on Amazing Talker and have been working on their platform for the last couple of months. This has allowed me to earn a little bit of extra money while I get settled in Madrid.

I’m sure we can all agree that the world has been a pretty scary place in the last few months. Personally, I’ve felt like we’ve all been in limbo – not really sure when “normality” will resume or even what the new normal will look like. The fear and worry of it all have been all-consuming for so many of us. Especially in terms of what’s to come and what the world will be like this time next year. This fear, however, has pushed me to make a life change and finally do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’ve decided to hand my notice in, pack my bags and move to Madrid, Spain to work as an English Teacher.
