This advent calendar is becoming the highlight of every day this December! As much as I love getting a little chocolate treat every day, there’s something much more luxurious about having a new skincare treat to pamper yourself with in this long, cold month. I’ve opened a few more boxes in my Kiehls 2022 Advent Calendar so it’s time to share with you the products I’ve received.

I have been a huge fan of everything Kiehls Skincare for YEARS. So, when my boyfriend surprised me with the 2022 Kiehls Advent Calendar this year, I was over the moon! Finally, a chance to sample ALL the amazing products I haven’t had the chance to try yet. I thought it would be fun to do a daily unboxing of all the products for all you fellow skincare addicts out there and share everything that’s hiding inside potentially the best advent calendar of all time. If it’s as good as I can imagine it will be, you might want to treat yourself next year (or send this post as a hint to anyone doing some Christmas shopping!)

As a lifelong sufferer of chronic eczema, I’ve tried a hell of a lot of “miracle” products that fill me with hopes of banishing my annoying, itchy and debilitating friend once and for all. Having eczema means I am always on the hunt to try out the best “superfoods”; all the miracle powders, seeds, supplements and foods that promise to heal your gut and make you glow from the inside out. I’ll admit that “superfood” is a bit of a buzz word and really, what does it mean? Can any of them actually make you healthier and how? Of course, it’s not only about the magical powders you add to your morning smoothie; you need to actually do the rest of the healthy stuff too *snooore*. The latest superfood to hit the health food scene is the bright and beautiful pink pitaya powder. Derived from the pitaya, or the dragon fruit as it is otherwise known, pink pitaya powder is bright and nutrient-rich and is easily incorporated into your daily diet. BUT, before you hot-foot it down to your nearest health food store, let’s find out a bit more about this pretty powder and all the wonderful things it can do for you.

As I come to the end of my 3rd tube of Weleda Skin Food I feel compelled to write a review of this absolute hero which quite rightfully won the Vogue Beauty Natural Skincare Phenomenon Award 2020. I first found out about this cream about a year ago when I was suffering SO badly with a winter eczema flare. I had seen it mentioned a few times on Instagram by people who also suffered from eczema so I decided to purchase and see if the hype was worth it. Spoiler Alert if you don’t have time to read any more – IT WAS 100% worth it!

A few weeks ago I decided it was time to overhaul my skincare regime. I’ll be honest, I didn’t really know where to start with it all. I had seen a lot of influencers on Instagram rave about ‘The Ordinary’ range, typically their AHA & BH peeling solution, hyaluronic acid and Retinol products.
